CRM Integration with Teams Phone

With CRM integration, IT admins can enable the automatic launch of an external app or URL for Teams users with a Teams Phone license. Teams automatically launch an external web app or URL upon call acceptance when an agent receives an external PSTN call. Additionally, Teams insert parameters to pass details about inbound callers like their caller ID to the web app/URL. Teams also securely retrieve the associated screen or content, such as a customer record, in the browser in parallel with the Teams call stage. Teams' users can turn off the setting to automatic external app/URL launch as well.

With CRM integration customer records are automatically open when a call queue agent answers an incoming call. Administrators will be able to assign this capability to specific users so that incoming call metadata can be used to trigger a web page URL in the browser-based experience of your CRM provider..

Call Quality Dashboards

The Call Quality Dashboard (CQD) shows call and meeting quality, at an org-wide level, for Microsoft Teams. The latest version of CQD features a near-real-time (NRT) data feed, which means that call records are available in CQD within 30 minutes of the end of a call. Wherever CQD includes end-user identifiable information (EUII) data, it's managed in the same way as EUII throughout Microsoft 365.

CQD is designed to help Teams admins and network engineers monitor call and meeting quality at an org-wide level. You'll use CQD to help you optimize your network to drive performance quality. When you need to look into call and meeting information for a specific user, use CQD data in conjunction with per-user call analytics

Auto attendants and call queues

Auto attendants allow you to set up menu options to route calls based on caller input. Menu options for an auto attendant--such as "For Sales, press 1--For Services press 2"--let an organization provide a series of choices that guide callers to their destination quickly, without relying on a human operator to handle incoming calls. Call queues are waiting areas for callers. For situations where callers need to reach someone with a particular specialty--such as sales or service--rather than a specific person, you can use call queues to connect callers to the group of agents who can assist them. Callers are put on hold until an agent assigned to the queue is available to take their call. Used together, auto attendants and call queues can easily route callers to the appropriate person or department in your organization.

Voice Enabled Channels

for Collaborative calling

Streamline internal and external customer call management experiences with built-in auto attendants, call queues and voice-enabled channels in Microsoft Teams. Voice-enabled channels allow connecting a call queue to a channel in Microsoft Teams.
